I blogged earlier this week about my Christmas tree serving as a gallery of memories for my family. Back when my husband and I got married, we thought it might be fun to get an ornament whenever we went on a trip or did something special together. But we found out quickly that one can't always find an ornament when it isn't Christmas time. So I came up with the idea of converting key chains into ornaments.
It's a simple idea, really. Find a key chain from a location you want to remember, remove the chain portion with some pliers, and slip the decorative portion onto a pretty ribbon.
What is created is a simple token in memory of a special occasion. Try it!
