My daughter attended a fun birthday party last weekend. Like usual, I made a gift tag to match the party's theme, but this time I didn't have much time so I just made a little doodle for the front of the tag. The theme for the party? Reptiles and Rock Stars!

Cash Drawer Shelves
My husband and I have set aside a room in our home for use as a playroom for my kids. It's the designated place for my kids to spread their toys out all over the room in their quests to conquer Darth Vader, create the most unique restaurant, or build the most elaborate contraption. And the LEGOs... we have shelves and drawers and bins dedicated to keeping the tiny little pieces organized for play. But somehow this last toy still manages to trickle into almost every other room in my home, especially the mini LEGO figures. My son loves to bring his LEGO figures into his bedroom and play with them before bed, so we've always had a problem keeping the little pieces off of the floor of his room.

Cardboard Slide
When I was a child, the church I attended had an annual harvest festival in the fall. The activity I loved best at this festival was the cardboard slide they created down one of the church's staircases every year. When I received a large box the other day, I knew that I had to share this idea with my own children.

A Cuter Wristband
The last time my husband and I took our kids to an amusement park, we were all required to wear wristbands. While my husband fussed over cutting the way-too-long end off of his wristband with the pair of fingernail clippers we had in the car, he glanced over at me and laughed.

Spring Tree Confetti Collage
My kids decided they wanted to continue our tradition of seasonal tree collages. This time I decided we should use confetti instead of torn paper since tree blossoms are often much smaller than leaves.

Nana's Easter Baskets
Well, my daughter's health is finally in a holding pattern, so this week I was able to find the time to help put some Easter baskets together for a Nana's four grandchildren. Just in time, too! There just aren't enough hours in a day!

Eraser Stamped "A"
Using a pencil eraser as a stamp is a simple way add polka dots to a project. I used this method this weekend to embellish a gift bag my daughter took for a polka dot party.
