Loose Ribbon Storage

Often the holiday season is rough on my art studio. My goal is always to get it back in order by the end of January. So one of my January traditions is to gather all loose ribbons recycled from holiday projects and unwrapped gifts and I store them in my ribbon box for easy access.

I organize the ribbon by color so I know the materials I have at a glance. And when wrapping gifts throughout the year I always remember to check the ribbon box for my needs before I move onto any of my new ribbon spools.

Hopefully I'll be painting again beginning next month!

Seahawks Lunch

My kids had an opportunity to show their Seahawks spirit today as their school enjoyed blue and green day in honor of the Seahawks game this weekend. I decided their lunches should join in on the fun!

I even sent the kids with special apples for their teachers.

Yes, I'm crazy.

Crazy about those Seahawks, that is!

The Summit Tubing Center at Snoqualmie

We Western Washingtonians don't get a lot of snow. To fill my kids' need to eat snow (which they insist is a genuine need), we decided to try out The Summit Tubing Center at Snoqualmie that everyone has been talking about.

Seriously fun!
