We had a bit of time today, so we slapped our bikes onto the car and took them up for a ride on the Sammamish River Trail in Woodinville.
It's a wonderfully smooth trail that follows the gentle curves of the Sammamish River. Perfect for beginning bikers like my daughter!
The weather was a little hot for the ride, but there were a few shady spots that provided relief along the way.
I think next time we'll bring some snacks and take a small picnic break before heading back. Otherwise, it was an afternoon well spent!
Fees: None. Free parking available at several spots along the trail.
What to bring: water, a snack
Length of ride: 10.9 miles of paved trail
