Rattlesnake Ledge

We are trying to get into "hiking shape" for our upcoming trip, so I decided to persuade my family to go up to Rattlesnake Ledge again. I love this hike so much -- it is difficult and yet totally do-able for my kids, and the view always makes this hike totally worth it!

We actually took our puppies up with us this time, and they hiked like little fluffy champions!

After our hike back down, we took some time to play in Rattlesnake Lake.

It was a perfect hike and post-hike cool-down. I think we might be ready for Alaska!

Fees: None. There is a large parking lot at the bottom of the mountain.
What to bring: camera, layers (conditions can change dramatically), water, a snack
Length of hike: 4 miles, roundtrip
