Science Museum Oklahoma

For our last full day in Oklahoma City, we visited Science Museum Oklahoma.

Science Museum Oklahoma is a huge, hands-on science discovery zone. The entire museum is designed for visitors to play and explore and as a result, visitors learn.

We made tornadoes, rode Segways, crawled through tape tunnels, and experimented with car design.

There were problems to solve, illusions to endure, games to play, and towers to climb.

We had so much fun!

While we were there, I noticed the museum seems to be undergoing a bit of an update. Admittedly, there were some activities that were tired, broken or missing pieces. So many kids come through the museum, I imagine it's difficult to keep everything in working condition! But the changes they've made thus far are fantastic. The rest of the museum doesn't seem far behind.

Regardless the construction, get your kids to Science Museum Oklahoma! It's learning wrapped up in a playful package. Who doesn't want that?

Distance from downtown Oklahoma City: about 12 miles, or 17 minutes
